This blog will review what the Phonak hearing aid light indicators mean. This blog is for the following Phonak models: Audeo Marvel, Paradise, Lumity.
The Phonak model, Audeo Belong, has different charging indications and features. If you desire this information see user guide reference here.
The Phonak Hearing Aid will automatically turn off and begin charging when it is placed in its charger. When taken out of the charger, the hearing aid will automatically turn on.
If you wish to manually turn the hearing aid off and on you can do so by pushing and holding the bottom button for 5 seconds. You will see a red light and the hearing aid is off. If you push and hold that same bottom button for 5 seconds, you will see a green light flash and then stop. The hearing aid is now on. Watch a video on this here.
Manually turning the hearing aid on and off also puts the hearing aids into pairing more.
Phonak hearing aid light indicators provide information on battery life. The colors and battery life are displayed in the chart below.
If you are not seeing any lights when your hearing aids are placed in the charger, the hearing aid may have accidentally been placed in shipping mode. Reference this blog to get your hearing aids out of shipping mode.
If you are still having problems with your Phonak hearing aids, book an appointment with your local audiologist.
